There’s Ignorant, then There’s Nikki Haley Ignorant
Nikki Haley made a truly appalling statement about Joe Biden’s age in a recent Fox interview:
“He announced that he’s running again in 2024, and I think that we can all be very clear and say with a matter of fact that if you vote for Joe Biden you really are counting on a President Harris, because the idea that he would make it until 86 years old is not something that I think is likely.”
FYI: There happen to be 15 current members of Congress age 80 or older, 4 of whom are Republicans.
Nikki Haley’s ignorance could be attributed to the lower life expectancy in her own state of South Carolina as with most red states.
In a poorly disguised dog whistle, she also points to the possibility of a President Harris. This is a bone tossed to rock the white world base. In fairness, Republican women get nowhere unless they climb into the gutter with the party’s racist faction. Considering her own related experiences, this is especially low.
